Take a stroll through magnificent nature!
The Kunimi Mountains of the Osumi Peninsula leave primeval forests growing thickly, and the clear water flowing out of the Hangaishi valley passes between the cliffs, forming the formidable hillock of Kamikawa Otaki (25m high, 30m wide), a mountain that changes with the seasons. The Japanese have a term known as ‘shinrinyoku’ – bathing in nature, and this is the perfect spot to enjoy a body and soul refreshment amongst the forest. There is also an impressive suspension bridge of 68m in height and 130m in length in the park, allowing another perspective from which to enjoy the magnificent nature that sits below. Otaki teahouse allows perfect refreshment while enjoying the nature of this wonderful nature spot.
Admission to the park is open year-round.
